This is the blog of Jacob F. Roecker who is solely responsible for it’s content. The title of the blog comes from the belief that if Heaven is nothing but good fresh bread and recess, this life is an “Unleavened Recess.” It’ll probably never makes it way to being a household word, but it does provide the sentiment for life.
Well, let’s see… I live somewhere between Elgin and Fletcher OK. That’s pretty much the middle of nowhere to anyone who’s not from here. I enjoy spending time with my family. Chrissy, Eliza, Daniel, & Rainey all serve to make life very busy and interesting. I’ve been serving in the Army since December of 1997 and have had many adventures courtesy of the taxpayers of America. I am indebted to them for providing me a means to take care of my family, and I hope I have (and will) serve them well throughout my time in the Army.
